Council approves city flag
Council members approved the final design for a new city flag. A committee had chosen three possible designs for the flag. Community residents then voted on the flag choices. The final choice received more than 40 percent of the votes cast.
The mayor said the flag would support efforts to improve the community and make residents feel more connected.
