Tell City is a city in Troy Township, Perry County, Indiana, along the Ohio River. The population was 7,845 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Perry County. It was named for the Swiss national hero Wilhelm Tell - from Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tell_City,_Indiana.

The flag is divided in a V shape, red toward the (lower) hoist, white in the V, and blue in (lower) fly. In the white V an apple pierced by an arrow, and the name written in red above. Date 1858 is split between the red and blue triangles.
