Loves Park is a suburb of the city of Rockport, Illinois, in Winnebago County in the far north central part of the state. With a city motto that calls it "The City with a Heart" (a play on the name LOVE's Park), Loves Park has a population of about 25,000.
I found three photographs online that show the flag of the city of Loves Park: one, two, and the best one at three. The flag features the city seal centered on a white field, with the words "CITY OF LOVES PARK" arched above the seal and the word "ILLINOIS" below the seal, all in grey capital italic letters, fimbriated red. The seal itself consists of a red heart surrounded by two gold laurel branches. Inside the heart is a gold cogwheel bearing a circular seal, depicting two hands embracing against a background of two trees (orange and green) against a light blue sky. A white ring inside the cogwheel bears the words "CITY OF LOVES PARK" in black capital letters.
