Lori Moller, a design for Harvard's city flag was approved on March 17, 1975.
However, 2 variants of the flag are used, and the available record about these
flags is unclear.
One flag (red flag) is now being shown in the city council
chamber and has been used since at least 1996 (but probably earlier). The other
flag (blue flag) more closely matches the present city logo and has been
produced by a vendor since 2014.
