"The flag itself is blue, and the four stars in the blue are white. In the center of the flag is a white diamond. Inside the diamond is a red outline of Old Lace School, the word "Darien", and 1969. This flag was created and designed by Pat Rodgers, and it was officially presented to the city on January 3, 1972. The original Darien Flag, of course, was and still is used by the city of Darien."
