The County's First Flag...was presented Monday to the Board of Supervisors by Bicentennial Commission Director Dorothy Buckingham and Art Rogers, vice president of the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County.

Bicentennial flag

From the same source, a bicentennial flag is shown, designed as a 'Peace Symbol"...containing elements of the county's history is the winning entry in the Pottawattamie County Bicentennial Flag contest. It was submitted by Kenny King of Bloomer School.

Presumably this was the US bicentennial, not Pottawattamie County.
