Port Richey is a city on the west coast of Florida which was established by the Missouri Captain Aaron Mr. Richey in 1883. New Richey Port, formerly Hickory Hammonds, took this name in 1914 when the Company of the Richey Port started to carry out developments in this area. The city is well known as a retirement center.
