Goodland is an unincorporated community and census designated place located
in Collier County.
The flag was adopted by the Goodland Civic Association
board of directors in November 25, 2015. It was designed by graphics designer
resident Sherri Morrison after a request by GCA President Greg Nello.

The flag depicts a digitalization of the community welcome sign seen
when passing by San Marco road. The sign shows a Mangrove forest on the left
side, with a depiction of a fishing community next to them. The sign is
supported by two bass, and behind is a green banner. Above is the community
flag, and underneath is a golden sign bearing the establishment year.
