I was sent an image of the flag and the resolution of adoption by Assistant City Clerk Yadzia Roa.
RESOLUTION NO. 2022/109 was passed and the flag was adopted on June 21, 2022 for the following reasons:
WHEREAS, the City of Deerfield Beach desires to adopt an official City flag; and
WHEREAS, after several weeks of research and creating multiple renderings, the Public Affairs and Marketing Department has submitted a flag design that closely mirrors the City logo and color scheme, which are popular and well-liked among residents; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt the flag attached as Exhibit " A," as the City' s official flag.
