Solana Beach is a pleasant beach town in San Diego County...just north of Del Mar, CA. This particular flag is on one of a set of three flag poles set behind a Veterans memorial (see WM68R6). The US (and MIA/POW) and Claironia flags are on the other poles. The flag design is that of a stylized sun setting over an ocean wave in a circle with the words "Solana Beach, Californa 1986" in an outer circle.
