The rainbow flag of Arkansas is derived from the state flag by making the following changes:
- white diamond is repainted into the rainbow colors, red (same shade as the field) at the top, blue lighter than the border of diamond,
state name placed on yellow field,
- three stars beneath the state name are all upright and fimbriated white,
- single star above the state name is white, and
- stars on the blue border are rearranged so that there is a star
in each corner.
