TowneBank is a community bank that was established in 1999, serving the areas
of Hampton Roads, Virginia, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. (http://townebank.com)
When our family visited the Outer Banks for a family vacation in Summer 2014, we
saw a couple branches of TowneBank in the area near Corolla. Each of the
branches was flying the American flag and the TowneBank corporate flag.
The flag of TowneBank features the corporate seal in white on a dark blue field.
The corporate seal is a white capital "T" surrounded by a wreath of laurel
branches.
