FRAM is an American brand of automotive engine replacement parts, such as oil
filters and air filters, among others. FRAM is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio,
as FRAM Group IP, LLC, but marketing under the brand name FRAM. The company was
founded in 1932 in Providence, Rhode Island, by two chemists trying to develop
easily replaceable fuel filtering elements of automobile engines. The company's
name comes from the first two letters of one chemist's surname (Franklin) and
the last two letters of the other chemist's surname (Aldham). (https://www.fram.com/about-us/)
The flag of FRAM, much like the flag of Tonka that I sent earlier, can
be seen most prominently at motorsports events, for many of which the brand is
an associate sponsor. At a Lucas Oil Late Model Series event in 2018, the FRAM
flag was seen flying atop the pit road wall near Victory Lane after the race.
The flag features the corporate logo in white centered on an orange field. The
logo is the name "FRAM" in white, italicized, capital letters.
