The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The gonfalone was approved by August 2 2000 by XIV session of village council of XXIII convocation: a rectangular canvas with a ratio of the sides: 1:1. In a red field there is a white rider. Two sides of gonfalon (left and right) have an green edging triangles with width of 1/8 of width of the gonfalon. The author is V.Il'ins'kyi."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The modern Coat of Arms was approved by August 2 2000 by XIV session of village council of XXIII convocation. A shield is quaterly and per bend. The first and fourth parts are vert, second and third parts are gules. In the first part is an or colt (or ukrainian female ornament), as a Bolohivs'ka land character. In the second part is or Mercury's staff as a character of ancient Lubar trade value. In a third is or sheaf. In fourth is argent "Pursuits" - tribal sign of the hosts of city Lubarts."

The City

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The Lubar forerunner was old city Bolohiv, the mention of which one is in Ipativs'kyi annals for 1150. In 1324-1386 the city was in Lubart possession, who was a son of Lithuanian prince Hedymyn. With XIV up to XVII centuries the settlement wore a name Lubartiv."
