Literally "North Donets'k", thought it's actually in the neighbouring oblast of Luhans'k. The
city was founded in 1934, as shown on the coat of arms below.
The flag is light blue with a golden border, and a golden stripe at the bottom, the Ukrainian national
symbol (trident) in the corner, and a golden falcon in the centre.
