"It was confirmed in October, 31st, 2002 by the decision of village council session. A square panel with a yellow cross (width of strips is equal to 1/5 of flag) has four fields, top from a staff and bottom from free edge are green, and two others are blue."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in October, 31st, 2002 by the decision of village council session. Per pale by azure and vert; or sheaf of wheat, above it is or sun with the human face, on the parties are the torn argent shackles. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown, it is enframed by canes with azure ribbon and viburnum. The author is O.Zheliba.
The azure-vert field specifies the name of village: Lozovyi ("willow") means vert color of a rod, Yar ("ravine") means azure color of water, which make ravines. A grain sheaf is symbol of well-being and agriculture. The or sun is ancient talisman, a symbol of heat, light, goods, consent, crop, hope, happiness. The broken off shackles is a sign of struggle for freedom.
