Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in December, 25th, 2002 by the decision of
village council session. Argent; azure bend sinister with or
colonel mace, on the parties are two branches of gules mallow.
The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village
crown, it is enframed by two or ears with azure ribbon and
viburnum. The author is O.Zheliba.
In XVIII century the village was a residence of Pereyaslav
colonels - it specifies mace. Mallow is the symbol of eternally
young, blossoming, creative soul of village inhabitants, a
mention of Kateryna Bilokur, well-known Ukrainian artist who
loved these flowers.
