Several variants of the Crimean flag have been seen in use in Crimea and Russia. These four designs were used once by "Pro-Russians", but are now certainly abandoned, favouring the official design.

In a demonstration in Sebastopol the demonstrators for Russia flew a flag divided in half diagonally from the lower hoist to the upper fly; The upper part was white, and the other half is divided in blue and red, diagonally.
