The Palmali Holding (website) was established in 1998 by Mubariz Mansimov, still President of the group.
The company began its journey by providing agency services for vessels passing through the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles Straits. After a time, the company decided to initiate the building of its own fleet. The main objective of the company’s owners was to gain status as a leading shipping in the regions of the Black and Caspian seas.
Over the years, Palmali grew to attain larger objectives, with an eye to the international arena. These days, company has been rated as one of the most powerful transportation companies within Russian inner ports, and in the Black, Mediterranean, Caspian and Baltic Seas.
As a global freight shipping company, Palmali transports all types of cargo, including oil and oil products, different types of vegetable oil, liquids and crops. Palmali also offers services in chartering, ship agency, technical management and ship construction.
