The municipality of Taşköprü (lit., "stone bridge"; 3,237 inhabitants in 2011) is located 10 km of Çiftlikköy.
The flag of Taşköprü (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality"; "T.C." stands for "Türkiye Cumhuriyeti", "Republic of Turkey".
The emblem of the municipality features the stone bridge (photo) that gave its name to the town. The exact date of building of the bridge is unknown; it is locally believed to be 400 years old.
