The HYP is a small centrist to social-democratic party founded in 2005. It received 0.5 % of the votes in the 2007 general elections.

The flag of the HYP is white with the symbol, coming in a number of versions. The first version (photo, photo) is a horizontal flag showing an old version of the logo (adding a light blue background with white rays behind the leaf). The second (photo, photo) is a horizontal flag with the current logo version; it seems to be used as a table flag only or at least preferably. The third (photo) is a hanging flag with the current logo version. The fourth (photo, photo, photo) is a swallow-tailed banner with the current logo version.
The symbol shows a green leaf surrounded by a red ring charged with
party name and abbreviation in white.
