"The IMFMM (Institut Méditerranéen de Formation aux Métiers Maritimes, Mediterranean Institute of Formation on Maritime Matters) is a public organization dependent on the Ministère du Transport (Transportation Ministry) that deals with management of merchant marine activities, technical aspects and transportation logistics and all other aspects linked with port and maritime
activities. It was established on April 30, 2008."
