On FOTW-fb Jan-Patrick Fischer reported a presidential flag used by Timor-Leste's President Taur Matan Ruak (2012-2017) on a boat to Atauro Island in 2014. The flag is yellow over red with coat of arms of Timor-Leste placed in the center of the flag and with black letters P and R placed next to emblem. It seems this flag is a maritime flag (or ensign), because it is not used on land, even I havenâ€™t found any evidence of usage of this flag. Of course, the Album des Pavillons (any edition) doesnâ€™t show this flag (ensign).

I guess those letters are the initials of the president’s title in Portuguese: "Presidente da República" [and in Tetum, Prezidente Republika - e.d.].
