The flag of Ruweng State has a pale blue field in the centre of which is the state Arms.

The state was established on 2 October 2015 by presidential decree, later revoked disestablishing the state on 22 February 2020. The symbols appear to be uniquely created for its purpose as a state, since the administrative area appears to have not existed before the state's creation; if there is a Pariang County logo it might be inspired by the same, but I am unable to find any images of it online.

Emblem

It is unclear when the state emblem was adopted, but most likely by 2016 or 2017 along with the flag. The state emblem was circular, having a green outline. Its outer ring is black and depicts 9 golden stars on each side, representing the 18 chiefdoms of the state. Above are two spears as tools. At the bottom is the name RUWENG in gold. The inner ring of gold is outlined in green, having a ring of black balls going all around. In the center, symbols of the economy are found: a cow as a symbol of prosperity/cattle-raising, barrels, wheat for agriculture, and an oil derrick with a flame above for the primary source of wealth in the region: petroleum.
