Suriname running horizontally in the centre. Superimposed on this is the emblem
of the Korps Politie Suriname in gold and outlined in black. Above the emblem
are the words ‘KORPS POLITIE’ in an arc, and below in a straight line is the
word ‘SURINAME’.

The colours of the Korps Politie
Suriname is blue, fringed in gold tassel. There is a fringe along the hoist
sleeve of the colour. The obverse and reverse are of different designs.
