The flag and arms of Radeče are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu in zastavi Občine Radeče, adopted on 23 June 2004 and published on 16 August 2004 in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, No. 91. Decision Odlok o spremembah in dopolnitvah Odloka o grbu in zastavi Občine Radeče, adopted on 9 April 2009 and published on 24 April 2009 in Uradni list Republike Slovenije, No. 32 (text) only amends penal and procedural issues.
The flag is vertical, in proportions 2:1, white with the municipal coat of arms offset to the top of the flag. The distance between the top of the coat of arms and the top of the flag is 1/3 of the flag's height, while the width of the coat of arms is 2/3 of the flag's width.

The coat of arms of Radeče is the historical coat
of arms of the town of Radeče, "Azure five dices argent dotted sable, 4-1-5-2-3".
The temporary Statutes of the Municipality of Radeče, adopted on
14 January 1995, already prescribed the use of the coat of arms of the town of Radeče as the municipal coat of arms. The Statutes prescribed
that the coat of arms and flag shall be determined by a further Decision.
Valvasor's Armorial (17th century, preserved in Zagreb National Library) gives an other coat of arms for Radeče, "Gules three lozenges argent per bend".
