This was a short-lived (1946-1959) colony, established after the defeat of Japan
and the resumption of British rule. This image shows a Blue Ensign with a
"Tudor" crown. Am I correct in thinking that this would have changed to a St.
Edward's crown in or around 1953? Was there a corresponding flag/flags for the
colonial Governor?

Existing flags would have continued in use after 1953. If any flags were made
between 1953 and 1959 they would probably have had the new crown.
