"Uray or Urai (Russian: Ура́й) is a town in Kondinsky District of
Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, located on the Konda River some 350 km
from Khanty-Mansiysk. Population: 38,872 (2002 Census); 37,198 (1989
Census). Postal code: 628285. Dialing code: 34676. It is served by
Uray Airport. Uray was founded as a settlement for oil field workers.
Uray was granted town status in 1965."
