Ethan Dubrow, 25 August 2024Kurchatov is a town in Kursk Oblast. It is the administrative center of Kurchatovsky District, despite being politically separate.
The flag is 1:2 and divided into two halves, the hoist being white and the
fly being blue. In the center is a golden atom to represent the power
plant-related history of Kurchatov. The white represents purity, hope, and
truthfulness. The blue represents the Kurchatov Sea.

The coat of arms is silver and is divided into two parts. The top part
represents the city of Kursk (nearby) and the bottom represents the nuclear
industry.
