City of Shimanovsk is independent city in Amurskaya Region since 1950. Its current symbols were adopted on 19.10.2017.
A rectangular double-sided cloth with a width to length ratio of 2:3, reproducing the figures of the coat of arms, made in green, red, yellow and white.

In a green and gules field, divided by a lowered silver belt, above the belt is a gold rim of a cogwheel and inside it are silver hammers crossed, one with a narrow striker outward, the other with two wide strikers, and a gold stone (with four acute and four rounded angles alternately) above their intersection; at the head of everything is accompanied by three silver stars with eight rays.
