Romnenskiy County became Romnenskiy Municipal District in 2020, and all of its 9 municipalities were dissolved. Its symbols were adopted on 04.07.2006.
A rectangular green cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, bearing along the lower side a yellow stripe (1/6 the width of the cloth), having a ledge in the middle ending in a cross; on either side of the cross is a pair of cranes.

In a green field above a golden special part, completed by a cross with three upper widened arms - two standing cranes of natural colors (with golden beaks, black heads in front, throats and tails of the same enamel and scarlet (red) crowns).
