Arkharinskiy County of Amurskaya Region in 2022 changed its status and became Arkharinskiy Municipal District, and all 16 municipalities within it were dissolved. The County Council of People's Deputies adopted the coat of arms on 15.08.2011, and The Council of Deputies of AMD adopted the flag on 20.02.2023.
The flag is a rectangular green cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, featuring a composition of figures from the coat of arms, executed in red, black, white, and yellow.

In a green field, under a chief gules burdened with five protruding golden ends of pikes, and on the far right peak there is a silver pennant intertwined with other peaks; two silver cranes dancing in reverse with their heads thrown back and wings raised, with beaks gules, heads and legs and with black wingtips and tails, and below their legs a black narrow wavy stripe, bordered with silver.
