(English: Central Automation Design Bureau, CADB Joint Stock Company) is a
leading company in the development and production of passive radio-electronic
systems. It was established on September 10, 1949 originally as "опытное
конструкторское бюро (ОКБ-373)" (English: experimental design bureau (EDB-373).
In 1961 it changed its name to ЦКБ. In 1972 "ПТО 'Автоматика'" (English: PTO
"Avtomatika") was established as a spin-off. In 1991 Avtomatika was split into
two organizations: "Центральное конструкторское бюро автоматики, ЦКБА" (English:
Central Automation Design Bureau, CADB and "завод 'Автоматика'" (English:
Avtomatika plant). Since October 2002, "Федеральное государственное унитарное
предприятие, ФГУП 'Центральное конструкторское бюро автоматики' (English:
Federal State Unitary Enterprise, FSUE 'Central Automation Design Bureau').
Since January 31, 2008 it is renamed as "Открытое акционерное общество, ОАО
'Центральное конструкторское бюро автоматики'" (English: Open Joint Stock
Company, OJSC ''Central Automation Design Bureau") becoming part of the Tactical
Missile Weapons Corporation and on August 26, 2015 it adopts its current
denomination.
