The flag of Opovo is white with a border composed of red, blue and white triangles, and the municipal coat of arms in the center.
The flag and arms of Opovo were officially
introduced on 22 May 2019. Both were designed by Aleksa Savulov, a
citizen of Opovo.
The first quarter of the arms is charged with the depiction of St. Nicholas, patron saint of the municipality. The second quarter stands for Banat, being a modified version of its coat of arms (no sabre in lion's dexter forepaw). In the third quarter, the wavy bar stands for the Tamiš river; the stork stands for biodiversity of the area,
which hosts the largest population of storks in Serbia, and is also a
symbol of fertility and fidelity in folk tradition; four wheat ears
stand for the four settlements that constitute the municipality.
