The municipality of Glogovac (in Albanian, Gllogoc / Drenas / Drenasi; 70,400 inhabitants in 1991; 270 sq. km) is located in central Kosovo. Totally inhabited by ethnic Albanians, Gllogoc is the cradle of Kosovar nationalism and was a stronghold of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

The symbols of Gllogoc are provisioned in the municipal statutes, adopted on 16 September 2008, as follows:
Neni 6.
6.1 Komuna ka emblemën dhe flamurin e vet. Përmbajtja dhe përdorimi i emblemës dhe flamurit do të përcaktohet me vendim të posaçëm të Kuvendit të Komunës.
6.2 Asnjë subjekt dhe person tjetër, përveç Komunës, nuk mund ta përdorë emblemën, flamurin dhe shenjat komunale apo simbolet pa autorizim paraprak të dhënë nga organet kompetente komunale.
The emblem of Gllogoc is a shield vertically divided red-black with a double-headed eagle countercoloured, surmounted by a yellow crest and surmounting two yellow scrolls, chaged with "19 XI. 1997" (to be confirmed) and "GLLOGOC", respectively.
