Shield Gules a maize ear Or leafed Argent, in chief a patriarchal cross Or.
Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "ESQUEIROS".
Meaning:
The cross stands for bishops and princes of the Christian church. The maize ear is symbolising agriculture, the economic base of the commune.

Esqueiros was one of the 37 communes of Vila Verde Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 493 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 1,58 km².

Shield Or a mound Vert charged with a millstone Argent, on fess point a mitre Gules, issuant from base barruly wavy of four of Argent and Azure, in chief two grape bunches Purple leafed Vert.
Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "TRAVASSÓS - VILA VERDE".
Meaning:
The mitre is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint.
