Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base three peaks Or, in chief a marian crown Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA REAL - NOSSA SENHORA DA CONCEIÇÃO".
Meaning:
The crown is representing Our Lady of Conception, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.

Nossa Senhora da Conceição Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Vila Real Municipality; it had 8885 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 3.4 km².

Shield Argent, a pair of keys Gules in saltire, accompanied by a tiara Gules garnished Or in chief, two paly branches Vert at dexter and sinister, and a pitcher Sable in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA REAL - S. PEDRO"
Meaning:
Keys and probably also tiara are attributes of St. Peter, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.
