The shield of the arms is Vert, a milk cow passant Argent speckled Sable, in orle two garlands of maize plants Or with their stems crossed per saltire and tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "TRAVANCA - VINHAIS".

Travanca Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Vinhais Municipality; it had 114 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 11.7 km².

The shield of the arms is Vert, three maize ears Or ordered per pale, flanked at dexter by a grape bunch Or and at sinister by three ears of rye Or, tied at base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SANTA CRUZ - VINHAIS".
Meaning:
The placement of the five charges, in cross, is canting.
