Shield Azure, four dolmens (Port.: antas) Argent garnished Sable ordered 2:2. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ANTAS - VILA NOVA de FAMALICÃO"
Meaning:
The arms are canting. "Anta" actually meaning a pilaster, is also used for the complete dolmen.

Antas Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Vila Nova da Famalicão Municipality; it had 6925 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 4.4 km².
