Gules, a castle Argent, flagged and roofed of the same, with port and windows Sable, under an inescutcheon of Portugal ancient between two stars Argent. Mural crown Argent, with five visible towers (city rank) and white scroll with black upper case letters reading "CIDADE DE TORRES VEDRAS" The former arms had been the same, but the mural crown had just four visible towers (town rank).

Current flag and arms published in the official journal Diário da República: II Série on 17 April 1984. The previous symbols were published in the official journal Diário do Govêrno: I Série on 27 May 1937.
