Meaning:
The word "valdujo" is a contraction of "vale de/do ujo" meaning "valley of (the) Eurasian eagle-owl".
This is also the name of the local river. This set of meanings qualifies the arms as fully canting. The number of owl heads matches three villages, which are mentioned in some texts about this commune.

Valdujo is one of the 15 communes of Trancoso Municipality created by the merger during the 2013 changes. It had 156 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 16,40 km².
