Shield Azure a castle Argent masoned Sable with port and windows Sable, charged with an estoile Gules, in chief a potato plant eradicated Or fructed Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "LONGA".
Meaning:
The red star comes from the Coutinho family arms, which are Or five estoiles Gules, see here, the stars often (not always) represented with 5 points.

Longa, also known as Longra, is one of the nine communes of Tabuaço Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 209 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 7,26 km².
