Shield Argent, an eradicated chestnut tree Sable, leafed Vert and fruited Or and Gules, flanked by two triplets of grapevines Purpure, each tied Gules and having on leaf Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SOUTO MAIOR - SABROSA".
