It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow background (village rank).

The arms are Sable a bladed wheel Or between two sticks Argent set in pale all above a woody grapevine Or fruited Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA FACAIA"
Meaning:
The arms show local products (grapes and timber) and refer to the traditional patron, St. Catherine of Alexandria, represented by her instrument of torture, the wheel.

Vila Facaia Commune is one of the three communes of Pedrógão Grande municipality, it had 579 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 17.3 km².
