Shield Or, issuant from base a doublemount Vert, in chief a chevron reversed wavy Azure, charged with a chevronel reversed wavy Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SANTA MARIA DE SARDOURA".
Meaning:
The doublemount is representing the mountains São Gens and São Paul, acc. to religious tradition seats of two holy smiths. The chevron wavy is representing Sardoura River, name giver of the commune. The golden colour is alluding to the Meneses kin, who had been Counts of Marialvas.
