Shield Argent four fleurs-de-lis Azure ordered 1:2:1, on base a ridge Vert garnished Or with five peaks superimposed by a bar wavy of Argent over Azure over Argent.

Mões is one of the 11 communes of Castro Daire Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes. It had 1691 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 20,46 km².
