The arms are Argent a St. James Order sword-cross (fleury fitchy Gules), flanked by two bundles each made of a wheat ear per pale and an cork oak twig per bend and an olive twig per bend sinister, all Vert tied Gules, in chief on an open book Argent bound Gules two pens Or set in saltire. Mural crown Argent with four
visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "TORRÃO - ALCÁCER DO SAL".
