It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, the top end of a belfry Argent masoned Sable with bell and weather vane Or, flanked by two branches Or of cork oak at dexter and of olive at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "IGREJINHA".
Meaning:
The belfry's top is a canting element. The name of the commune means "little church". Draft designed by Eduardo Lourenço Brito.

Igrejinha Commune is one of the five communes of Arraiolos Municipality (q.v.); it had 932 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 84.63 km².
