Eucísia was one of the 14 communes of Alfândega da Fé Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 128 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 21,45 km².

Shield Argent a procession cross Gules garnished and bejewelled Or (see British WIKIPEDIA), issuant from base a doublemount Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VALVERDE - ALFÂNDEGA DA FÉ".
Meaning:
The word "valverde" means "green valley", represented by the green doublemount the arms being therefore partly canting.
