Poznań: white with coat of arms.
Luc Baronian, 18 May 1999
According to a document I have, the flag is plain blue with a huge coat
of arms in the middle. Poznań ranks among the oldest cities in Poland;
it was the seat of a bishopric as early as the 10th century. The 14th century
town bore the same signs as the present coat of arms; SS Peter and Paul
- the patrons of the town - flanking an escutcheon bearing the Polish eagle.
